Are your Beliefs Empowering You or Holding You back?
Beliefs can empower you and also cause doubt, it can limit and discourage you. For example; believing in your affirmations or manifestations. You can replace doubt, by disproving the limiting belief that have placed a strong hold on your life. All the energy spent proving that the limiting belief is true, could have been replaced with a more positive perspective.
Have you ever been around a person who is constantly negative? They are a true “Debbie Downer” or a "Negative Nancy" about everything. Most times, they will talk their subconscious into believing that their life is truly bad, but others from the outside, see something totally different. That limiting belief they have will result in doubt, Surprisingly, you can actually turn doubt around, by doubting what you think is limiting.
Examples of things people subconsciously put limits on, and talk themselves out of doing:
1. "I will never be able to travel to Spain, because I don’t have enough money"
2. "I will never be as smart as you, because I didn’t go to college"
3. "Being a homeowner is out of the picture for me, because my job only pays minimum wage" or "no one in may family ever owned a home"
Those things can be turned around if the energy is placed in a more positive direction, focus on ways to plan and achieve the goal, change your perspective, change your belief system.
A Perspective Change of thought to work towards the limiting beliefs above:
1. Saving $50 a month, until you have enough to cover expenses to Spain is a resolution or booking through certain discounted travel agents/internet site.
2. Reading more about the subject content at hand, may give you more knowledge. Applying to a Technical/Trade School or University is available to anyone in-person or online. Also, just because someone went to college, does not mean they are smarter.
3. Search low income or HUD/grant programs, take a first time home buyers class to find out what a person in your situation have to do. Change jobs, or make getting a promotion a goal.
Self-reflection Time
Write down as many beliefs that you can, but classify them in the appropriate column. Identify the three most impactful beliefs under each column, highlight them.

Looking at your Limiting Belief, replace that limiting belief with a positive affirmation. Build up new beliefs to replace that limiting belief. If you have a TRUE limiting belief, you should have three supporting facts to prove why it’s doubtful and will remain limiting.
